Credibility: We strive to be highly credible in our own functions, remaining curious and constantly looking for ways to improve. For Engineering, that means delivering consistently not just on your tasks, but raising the technical bar for us all.
Reliability: We hold ourselves and our colleagues responsible to deliver great results, on time, every time and seek help early when we don't see a way to deliver. For Engineering, that means your work is on time and in scope, and you’re not the blocker for someone else.
Understanding: We're all human, and to trust each other we need to know each other. While we believe passionately in building a remote company, we also recognize we need to be together at least quarterly to build our understanding of one another, in turn make our remote work far more effective. We also believe in giving and receiving developmental and strengths-based feedback. We look for colleagues who share our view that feedback delivered well is a gift for your colleagues, and that not giving it holds everyone back.
Low Self-Orientation: Low does not mean no. We believe that people should be recognized and rewarded for their efforts, given a clear path forward in their career and armed with the tools necessary to keep developing. As a company we commit to putting those structures in place. In return, we expect colleagues to put the outcome and the customer first.
Our operating model
We care about outputs and outcomes, not how you manage your time. At KMX we are building a company that works remotely, so whether you want to come into the office (Kreuzberg) every day, or every so often, is up to you. We trust you to do your best work wherever you are.
